The Patriotic Event is the time of year where Sylestians take time to honor those who offered their service in the name of the realm and for all things good. During this time, Sylestians can display their patriotic pride and offer their own service in the name of the kingdom.

Double Experience Boost Event
During this time, all battles will award Double Experience!
Themed Encounter Rate Boost Event
During this time, there will be a Themed Encounter Rate Bonus and all Wild Themed within the Lost Grove will have a doubled base rate of being encountered! This is a doubled increase chance on the base rate. This bonus stacks with all other Themed Encounter Rate Bonuses.

Diamond Sale Event Progressive Bonus
During the Patriotic Event, any Diamonds spent (excludes Currency Exchange) will award you points towards six tiers of bonus rewards. Again, these are Diamonds spent - not purchased. Only Diamonds spent during this event will count towards these Progressive Bonus prizes.

Custom 3-Visible Themed Pet of Choice
You are eligible to receive a custom 3-Visible Themed Pet of your choice! You may choose from any Themed Pet in the game (with a few exceptions), its Gender, and its Traits. The following restrictions apply:
1. The Themed Pet must have been released in game by July 3rd, 2026.
2. If you choose a Restricted Themed Pet, it can only be a max of 2-Visible Traits.
3. All Traits will be Visible Traits only. No Carried nor Hidden Carried allowed.
4. Restricted Traits cannot be selected for non-Restricted Themed Pets.
5. If selecting a Restricted Themed Pet, only valid Restricted Traits that naturally appear on that Restricted Themed Pet can be selected.
6. If selecting a Lost Grove Themed Pet, you may choose a maximum of one Restricted Wild Trait. The Restricted Wild Trait must naturally appear on the Themed Pet. Restricted Wild Traits cannot be selected on non-Lost Grove Themed Pets.
7. The following Themed Pets cannot be chosen: Dawnbreaker Aeridini, Frostkeeper Aeridini, Mistwarden Aeridini, Nightrider Lily Faelora, Bright Star Lily Faelora, Starlette Lily Faelora, Winter Grasp Ferrikki, Summer Scorcher Ferrikki, Spring Showers Ferrikki, Faerina's Praetorian Ferrikki, Malgorus's Tyrannical Ferrikki, Raith's Ravaging Ferrikki, Saphryn's Desecrating Ferrikki, Vaeluna's Archangel Ferrikki, Wruen's Soothsaying Ferrikki.
Event Category Avatar Item of Choice
You are eligible to receive an Event Category Avatar Item of your choice. The following restrictions apply:
1. The Avatar Item must have been released in game by July 3rd, 2026.
2. The Avatar Item must be from the Event Category. Event Category Avatar Items are Avatar Items obtained from Events and Festivals. You can filter the Wardrobe by this Category.
3. The following Avatar Items cannot be chosen: Mythical Quality Avatar Items, Sylestia's Anniversary Items, Sylestian Service Items.

The Sylestian Service feature has returned! Enlist and aid your kingdom through the branches of combat, caretaking, and conservation! As you complete the requirements for each branch, you will gain ranks and progress from Civilian all the way to Champion! Master a branch to earn additional rewards specific to that branch!
Combat: The combat branch is best for those who wish to charge into the thick of situations and settle things on the battlefield. You can earn rank through the combat branch by defeating any non-Sylesti enemies within the following zones: Sweet Blossom Orchard, Astryl's Tranquility, The Lost Grove.
Caretaking: The caretaking branch is best for those who pursue more peaceful means and excel at nurturing young Sylesti. You can earn rank through the successful nurture of any Sylesti. Either visit your Hatchery or visit individual pet's profile pages to nurture.
Conservation: The conservation branch is best for those who manage large breeding projects and have many aged adult Sylesti that they are willing to release into the wild. The wild populations of Sylesti are always strained upon and so conservation is vital to maintain healthy levels. You can earn rank by releasing any Sylesti that is at least 42 days of Age.
In total, there are 7 main ranks and then 3 branches for Rank 8. Earn progress towards the next rank by completing any of the requirements for Combat, Caretaking, or Conservation. Once you unlock a new rank, visit the Sylestian Service page to rank up and claim your rewards for that rank! In order to acquire a Rank 8 status and claim its rewards, you must have a current rank of Champion (Rank 7). However, progress towards Rank 8 tiers is awarded regardless of current rank.
The 7 main ranks in order are: Scout, Corporal, Sergeant, Knight, Templar, Guardian, and Champion!
As you gain a new rank, you will receive a Bundle of rewards specific to that rank. This will always include a at least 2 new Outfit items and a Title. The Knight and Champion ranks will include 2 new Head items, 1 new Held item, and a Themed Pet!
Once you have achieved the rank of Champion (Rank 7), you will now unlock the ability to master the 3 Branch Ranks: High Warlord, High Priest, and High Druid!
Each of the Branch Ranks can be achieved separately and players will have the opportunity to achieve all 3. Upon mastering a Branch Rank, you will receive a Bundle of rewards specific to that rank. This will include 2 new Outfit items, 2 new Head items, 1 new Held item, and a Themed Pet! Additionally, players who master all 3 Branch Ranks will receive a very special and exclusive Title: Guardian of the Realm!

The Wheel of Themed is a very special wheel in which every spin results in a Themed Pet (Or, rarely, a very exclusive Avatar Item)! This wheel works in a special way where the available Themed Pets dynamically change depending on the population balances of each individual Themed Pet. The wheel focuses on Themed Pets that are much less populated than their counterparts with the goal of not only balancing populations, but also giving ultra rare Themed Pets a chance to receive some new Traits and offer new breeding opportunities.
At any given time, players can view the list on the Wheel of Themed's page to see how many of which Themed Pets are currently available to win. Once a Themed Pet has been won enough that its population has increased to predetermined values, it will no longer be available as a prize! This is to insure that it does not become overpopulated.
The Wheel of Themed also has an exclusive prize: 3-Visible Pre-Tagged Themed Pets! There are 14 Themed Pets that are nearly identical (some very minor adjustments) to our original Themed Pets that were released prior to the Themed Pet system existing back in 2013. Quite a few collectors have collected these "Pre-Tagged" pets over the years and lots of players have always had an interest in them, so we decided to turn them into the real deal. Each spin on the Wheel of Themed will have a 1:12 chance of awarding one of these new Themed Pets.

Task Log

Throughout the event, players can participate in various tasks listed in the Task Log to earn guaranteed rewards for their efforts! Rewards will include
We have added an Event Task Log full of a dozen+ Tasks for a few different things during the Event. How this works is just simply complete whatever is required of the Task and credit will automatically be tallied into your Task Log. Once you have completed the Task the required amount of times, you will receive whatever the reward for the Task is. It's that simple!
There are only Event Tasks for this Event, which can only be completed once per Event.
Patriotic Themed Pets

The Patriotic Themed Pets can be found in the wild within the Lost Grove or as rewards from the [Sylestian Service Reward].
Blazing Fireworks Themed Pets
These Themed Pets are returning once again this year. All Blazing Fireworks Themed Pets obtained from this year's event will either have a chance - or a guaranteed chance depending on the source - of coming with a Restricted Wild Trait. This includes Fabled species!
You can also receive a [Sylestian Service Reward] from defeating Lost Grove Elites, Named, and Bosses, which can contain a 2-Visible Blazing Fireworks Themed Pet with a guaranteed Restricted Wild Trait!
You will also have the chance of encountering Wild Blazing Fireworks Themed Pets within the Lost Grove, including Fabled species! If you encounter one, all species will have an equal chance of appearing. These pets will also have a chance of having a Restricted Wild Trait - yes, even Fabled!
Event Avatar Items
Exclusive festive Avatar Items are also available for this year's Event. These Avatar Items can only be found exclusively in the [Sylestian Service Reward] boxes. These rewards can be obtained from the Task Log and by defeating Elites/Named/Dungeon Bosses within the Lost Grove.

The Summer Festival Themed Pet Design Contest is also coming to an end. However, I will give players one more week to get their submissions in. So please get your entries posted or finalized by Sunday, August 2nd!
The Summer Festival will probably begin on Friday, August 14th.
In other news, I have been very busy rebuilding, basically, the entire foundation of Sylestia. This is why the Summer Festival will be a little later than usual. I am hoping to push the first large chunk of it live next week. When this first chunk goes live, it will include the following:
- Brand new, modernized site layout (for re-built pages). You can view a sneak peak of it here: Classic Theme, Dark Amber Theme, and Dark Sapphire Theme. It will also come with a lot of QOL Customization Options that allows players to customize their browsing experience. Although I am not building a true mobile version just yet, the new site layout should also offer a much improved mobile experience. However, a true mobile version is coming and re-building all of these pages and features from scratch is a huge building block to eventually accomplishing that.
- Completely re-built account management, both on the front-end and back-end. This includes a brand new account creation process, account login process, the ability to login via a Google or Apple account, two-factor authentication using an authenticator application of your choice (or still via email), better tools to change your display name/email/password, better Discord integration, better tools for keeping track of your login history and saved devices, and more. All of these systems were completely built/re-built from scratch.
- New site email-sending system that shouldn't get caught in spam filters as much. Improved look that matches the site theme that you have set for your account. It also now has a proper back-end sending queue system rather than forcing the client to send an email on demand. In other words, improved site performance whenever you take an action that generates an email.
- Re-built Contact Us page that will actually provide a built-in way to contact us. No more having to copy our support email address and compose an email by hand. A form will be provided to anyone needing assistance so that they can easily get in touch with us with as little hassle as possible.
- New Privacy Policy and Terms of Service pages. I know, very exciting lol. But these are important for us and should now cover a wider range of relevant topics as well as updating our important legal documents for providing a modern browser game in 2026.
- A re-designed home page to hopefully be more attractive to first-time visitors. A better news announcement system, etc. This one hasn't been built yet, so I can't go into further details yet.
Once the above list is completed (which again, hopefully next week), we will be pushing that live in a major updated. From there, I will be re-building existing pages/features one at a time and then pushing them live to this new site layout. I would expect to be releasing one or two new pages/features per week until the entire site is updated and uniform. The much-anticipated Breeding Grounds will be among one of, if not the, first individual page/feature to be released this way. Right now, I am hoping to accomplish that shortly after the Summer Festival begins.
All in all, there is a ton of exciting things happening behind the scenes for Sylestia. I can't wait to start getting these new things released for everyone!
