I am getting back to the game after a long hiatus away, and I am trying out the Sylesti Growing activity in the Spring Festival.

I added a Greater Fertilizer to my growing Zolnixi plant, and now it will have 2 Visible traits. I also have a couple of Lesser Fertilizers. I am wondering what would happen if I added those to the plant as well. Would they add even more traits to my plant, or would they override the Greater Fertilizer and give it fewer traits?

I wanted to ask here before I experiment with it, since I don't want to mess anything up! Thanks for your help.

You can add only one type of fertilizer to the flower, lesser gives 1 visible, greater gives 2, and exceptional gives 3. (2carry, 1vis, 2vis for restricted themes). It is also possible to get an extra carried trait if you get 2/2 bonuses for using enrichments on the flower.

Unfortunately once you add the fertilizer to the plant, you can't change it.

Just wanted to add that you can later decide to use a greater fertilizer over a lesser fertilizer, if you decide you want 2 visible traits instead of 1, or get a greater fertilizer later, for example. You just can't "downgrade" them and one will always be active :)

You can also change the gender using the other tree saps before it finishes. But every item you used beforehand, you still wouldn't get back if you use something else on top of it. I think the only important thing that can't really be reversed is if you decide you want traits in different slots (using the genetic bonding), so feel free to experiment!

Interesting, so some items can be switched out for better ones, but you can't revert an item back to a lesser version? That's good to know, I will have to keep that in mind as I collect more items and get ready to experiment.
