Sorry if I shouldn't post this here, still learning the site but I'm struggling to continue with quests and stuff when my team always dies? I spend so much money on healing that I can't save up for the 3rd party slot. I have Star, a shadow tank and Wynter, an air DPS. I'm probably doing something wrong either with stats or set up in general so I hoped someone could give me some tips or tricks. I've been trying to read the guides but all the images aren't available so it gets pretty difficult ;-;

Do you send pets on Missions? Do you have mission pets set up?
Missions are probably the best way to make gold early on
(guide to mission pets and missions, and guide to making gold may be useful

Do NOT spend gold healing pets- they will recover on their own over time while not in battle, and the healers also fill mana and charge for that, too, not just hp.

In terms of gear, you'd be better off with full lv25 legendary gear, which can be obtained from lv25 very hard mission satchels (Illusionist on Star, Myrmidon on Wynter) Tossed over some stuff that may help


Wynter's profs are fine, I can't speak on what's best for low level shadow tank since I don't use shadow tanks, but I wonder if 1int/1agi might work as an alternative (since higher damage output = more healing)? you'd need someone who actually uses shadow for a more definitive thought though

I had a look with your team. Illusionist gear (int & agility) is fine for a shadow tank. Air DPS usually does better with strength & dex. I've sent you some gear for them that might help a bit until they level.

But without knowing the specifics of where they are struggling, its hard to say.
The Sylestia Walkthrough Guide can be helpful, with some tips for specific strategies for certain enemies. But note it contains spoilers!

Edit: Scath replied while I was typing. I agree that missions are one of the most consistent ways to make gold in sylestia, especially at the beginning!

I keep failing missions so I think I've been misreading them or not paying enough attention T^T tysm for the pointers though. Right now I'm hard stuck on a 3 group of trolls in Engimatic Grotto, tried two different tanks and I can't seem to survive long enough to dent them

Hmm... I think the trolls were tough with three pets! xD If you only have two, I'd recommend unlocking the 3rd slot at the plaza first! In terms of battle strategy, maybe focus on the two side trolls first before the main one?

Edit: For missions, its just about training (and putting the right gear for) one stat. Each mission will say what stat it is for. So an intelligence mission will need int gear and int training (fire, shadow, or light) on that pet. Same with strength (air, water, or earth). Dex, agility & health don't matter for element, just ability and gear. Hope that helps!

Also, I use my "extra" pets for missions, not my main battle pets.
