I have a few questions regarding the Scale shop that I am confused about.

1. Are the eggs worth it? They look very expensive and I am unsure what kind of eggs they are. Do they have traits or are they themed?
2. Are the eggs more worth it or is using a genetic mutator on my starter better?

you cannot use a genetic mutator on your starter, as mutators can only be used on Tamed pets, not generated, exclusive, or offspring


Themed pets cannot be obtained from the scale shop.
Scale shop pets have tp by price, and species, gender, colour, and what traits they get are all random

Generally speaking scale shop eggs are not considered worth it to get (definitely not if you're after something to sell.)

Okay, thank you so much! That makes a lot of sense and thank you for the info.
Didn't see those threads before, so I will save them.

Any suggestions on what to do with scales in that case?
Pretty new here, just know that you get scales from turning eggs, hatchling growth, etc. and so trying to figure out what is the best thing to do with them is.

All three of these things will sell for normally around 50k on the broker depending on the time of the year or can be used on your own pets! ^^

Thank you for the reply as well ^^ Will do that then. I like the idea of genetic mutators and pet dyes the most I think.

Scales can also be used to boost Egglings and Hatchlings to be more visible to other players while they're nurturing (can be good when trying to get their stats boosted during an event that promotes nurturing)

EDIT :
If trying to make money, I know that Lesser Dyes & Mutators can be found in other ways, but Null Philters are usually unique to the Scale shop, making it pricier than the other two most of the time (so more profits)
