I decided to register on the site after finding it. I had it saved in my tabs for a while, just never got around to actually starting to play it. I really like it so far.

I am in my 20's and I really like virtual pet sites. I play several other types as well, although I am not the most sure whether those can be mentioned on this site or not, so I won't say more regarding them for now.

I am a beginner artist, but have some experience with making pixel art adoptables. So I am wondering if adoptables are a bigger part of the site or not [Several other sites I am on have a lot of them, based on in-game currency. It is also how I got into pixel art.

My primary language is not English. Just to throw it out there.

I really like the pets so far, but I am also curious whether buying or catching them is more worth it for now. I only really have more beginner pets for the time being. As far as I know.

Also any tips regarding themes? How do I get into breeding them? I have seen several on the market which caught my attention.

Adoptables aren't a big thing on here. In fact, the art trades forum has been pretty quiet as of late... there's always interest in commissioning art of Sylestia pets though!

For themes, I'd recommend browsing the Themed Pet Codex and checking the average sale prices to see which themes might be in your budgetmaking gold is hard when you first start out. Then you can pick traits you like and reference this thread for tips on how to breed a pet with those traits!
