I have notifications turned off for the festival task list, but I still got a message in my inbox for the task "Earn Leaderboard Reward Pouch from Contests".

prob cuz its from leaderboards and not festival task list?

There are festival tasks for the Leaderboards, so I'm assuming he was referring to receiving notifications of completing those tasks even though he has the notifications for the task log turned off.
Just thought I should clarify that in case you didn't realize the Leaderboard had tasks you can complete on the task log.
I also have the festival task log notifications turned off, and also received notifications for tasks that were on the task log for leaderboards.

yes thx for clarifying that. Tho im pretty sure its different tho cuz u also got that notification, but i might be wrong.
I have notifications turned off for the festival task list, but I still got a message in my inbox for the task "Earn Leaderboard Reward Pouch from Contests".
As pointed out, yea, this happens b/c I run the script for the Leaderboard Contest rewards so it just uses my setting for everyone.
I attempted to add a snippet into the script that will overwrite the setting with the winners' setting. Let me know if it doesn't work next time the rewards are handed out.

I just received a message about reaching "x15 Contest Pouches" even tho my notifications are off
EDIT : Same happened with the "x4 Leaderboard Pouches"

Unfortunately, I don't really have a good way of handling this since these messages are being sent out from the server and this configuration is saved more-or-less, locally. I would have to completely change how the server side script works or add a lot of inefficiencies to the script to check for this.
So, unfortunately, at this point I think just gonna have to deal with it as is until I can come up with a better solution.

It's not a big deal, since it's just the contest notifications and everything else works fine :)
Hopefully you can find a better solution on the long run, but it's not gamebreaking, so not super urgent ^^
