Can someone please tell me how does the tree work? For the columns that are numbered 0,30, 65,70,75 etc how do I allocate to those? Why are there so many options for allocations when you only get one point per massive jump in between levels. I am confused lol

Hi! Those aren't just for proficiency points.
At levels 0, 30, 65, 70, and 75, you get a Proficiency point and earn a new ability that your pet can use in battle.
Those new abilities can be ranked to be made stronger.

Once you reach the Lost Grove(Current End Game content), the battles you do in the LG will slowly rank those abilities up over time to make those abilities stronger.
That's why you see the arrow pointing to the same ability within a level/column, that'll say something along the lines of Leaching Strike (Rank 1), Leaching Strike (Rank 2), Leaching Strike (Rank 3), Leaching Strike (Rank 4), Leaching Strike (Rank 5).
You can also rank abilities during the Fall Event through a feature called the "Maws of Madness".
