This is my design for what I called "Jade Forest" Ryori originally. However, I think "Jade Tiger" might be more suitable. Not really sure.

Anyway, the point is, I think it's missing something, but I'm not sure what. It doesn't have gene 2 (however I don't think I like it with a gene 2.) I need some help. If anyone thinks they might know what's missing, feel free to let me know or edit it in the generator. Just please don't take it and claim it as your own. Thank you! ^^

Here's how I personally would design this project. (Feel free to edit to your liking.)
Base traits:

Base traits with g2

Random traits:

You may notice that I use some dark blues. In the art world I am doing something called hue shifting. When you shade an image, it looks better when you shift the color slightly in one direction, and when you highlight you shift the colors in the opposite direction. (In this case I went colder for the darker colors and warmer for the lighter colors.)

Oh wow. The darkness of those blues really help it pop!! That looks a lot better! Thank you Drachi. ^^

Also, still not too crazy about gene 2 (for Ryos I think 6 traits almost always looks like too much) but the dark color you chose to compliment the orange is great!! Finally, I think the yellow on the wraps is a bit too strong so I'd lighten it up, but overall the changes have helped a LOT.

Thank you for your advice!!! To be completely honest this was a design I made awhile ago but quite liked, but still felt like something was missing.

Also, I feel like this was just sort of eye-opening in a way that I can also apply to other projects. ^^

Here it is with the darks and a lighter wrap, I didn't change the colors at all except the yellow from what you suggested. :D

I'm glad I could help! Having a little bit of knowledge in art does help in my design process a little and I don't mind sharing what I know with others.
