Can you tell that a pet has a hidden trait without genetic testing?
i just caught this girl: https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=7927005 and she has her genes visible as None but I haven't tested her and the genetic test button is greyed out. Does that mean she doesn't have any hidden traits?
the other day I caught this one: https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=7926545 and he has a hidden gene of demon wings that I found after testing him. How come I can't test my girl? Does it just mean she has no hidden traits?

At the beginning of the game, you get one one-time use Genetic Test Kit. The reason you can't test your pet is because you don't own a Genetic Test Kit, not because she doesn't have hidden traits. Genetic Test Kits can only be purchased with Diamonds, which cost real money, but there are many people on this site who will test pets for free. Just go to the Groups, Guilds and Services forum tab.
