Hey all,

I am having some troubles with building my quest team.

What is the best way to spent points and on what (int/dex/str/health/ag) in order for your middel pet to survive more attacks and for your other2 to do the most damage they can?

And how does it matter (if it matters) which proficiency you use? And when you have chosen one, is it importand to focus the level points only on the main 3 that are at the top of the profinciency? (examples light has health/int/ag so in order for your pet's light attacks to be at its strongest do you need to level up health int and ag or do you ignore int en ag and still level up strength?)

If you do not get what it is I am asking (I am not very good in explaining these kinds of things) just try explaining what you think is the most efficient way to stat/build up your team in quest battles and why.

Thanks in advance to anyone that replies. It will be very much appreciated.

There's this guide Dimitri just made o:
http://www.sylestia.com/forums/?t=1068&page=1#2

In quest teams, people usually build their team with 1 tank and 2 glass cannons. Dimitri calls them the tank, the Mage, and fighter.

Tank (MIDDLE PET)-pure hp to take hits, or a mix of HP/agi to build mitigation and avoidance rate

Mage (SIDE PET)-often pure int and built into an int-based prof tree. Can double as a healer in the light tree.

Fighter (SIDE PET)-often pure str and built into a str-based prof tree.

Why I call Mage and fighter "glass cannons" is because little to no HP is built into them. Personally, I recommend giving them maybe 1/4 of the level up points or so in their HP, to survive multi-pet attacks, and the rest in either str or int. When they're on the sides, they don't tend to get hit, so they're good to be damage dealers.

For Mage types, build into either fire, dark, or light trees as pure int. I recommend light because it has a chance to heal other pets, but needs all int so it deals more damage, since amount healer is damage based. You can use fire tree to have a move that can hit multiple enemies, which is good too against mobs. As for their level ups, put all of them into int, and maybe 1/4 into HP for good measure.

For fighter types, build into air or ice trees (earth has a special attack that attracts attacks, so it's better for a tank) with pure str. Air has slash, which can deal damage over time if lacerate goes through (not sure if that's the name of the side effect). Use level ups the same way you did for Mage, but built into str with some in HP.

For the tank, I recommend either earth or dark trees with pure HP. Earth can attract attention to the tank, as it's supposed to take damage, or dark's force move can leave Siphon, which deals damage over time. Use level up points to boost hp or agi as a sensible mix. I think I do half/half. Some others have different builds. Don't expect the tank to do good damage if you build it this way though. o:

My mission team is a dark tank, a light Mage for healing, and an air fighter. Works well for the most part in the long run, though treat it with lots of attention and keep HPs high xD
