*facepalm* good spelling of newbie in the title Loli.
So I have a fair number of scales but I'm too scared to use them at the moment because I don't know what on earth the eggs are. Here are my questions...
1. What is usually in the eggs? Do they usually contain pets or items or a mix of both? And are the pets any good or just one carries?
2. Does the quality of the product inside increase with the price or does it just give you more of a chance at a better item if you pay more?
3. What is usually in the fabled golden eggs?

1 pets, not fabled species

2 higher price denotes greater gp, which goes into how many genes or mutations total it has

3 items, save them for holiday events because they can hold event stuff in them, otherwise they have like Mutators or dyes or scanners

The color on the outside of the egg gives you some idea of the colors of the pet. (colors two and three of the pet) Genes are random too. The more expensive the egg, the more likely it will be showing or carrying more genes. I haven't bought an egg outta there since closer to when I started playing but if I remember correctly, the egg I bought for under 1000 scales was either a 2 or 1 carry. The one I bought for over 1000 scales was a 1 vis. I think it had a carry but don't quote me.

During Festivals the Golden Egglings, like Kestral said, have a chance to give you a festival themed item.
