I'm still new here, learning as I go, though enjoying the game very much so far! I often find myself obsessively nurturing cute little hatchlings back to back, and I wouldn't mind making some friends here. So I'm wondering if anyone would like to become nurture buddies? Or just friends in general works too! It'd be nice to have someone to discuss breeding or battle strategies with, or talk about which pets are cuter. ;)

So if you'd like to befriend a whimsical newbie... Oooh, shiny! Wait... what was I saying?

I'd be happy to be your nurture buddy and friend, I know when I started I didn't get on the forums, chats, or really talk to people but I'm having much more fun now that I have several friends on here.

But yeah, welcome to Sylestia! I'm always in the market for new friends, even if I do scare people with my super scariness.

I don't do a ton of nurturing but I will do my best to stop by your hatchery as often as my brain remembers to do so. (It is often busy thinking of new ways to be AWESOME.)

Are there any particular breeds of Sylesti that you are fond of? I often have extra beasties clawing about my stables, being all like "rawr". And I'm all like "seriously?" And then they're like "Mmhmm."

As for which pets I am fond of... Well, they are all loveable, aren't they? :) I may have a special love for felines and winged creatures, but in Sylestia, they are all adorable. Especially the babies! I think that's part of why I like hanging out at the hatchery.

Not at all, feel free to add me. To add to your friend list you'd just have to click our names and then there's an add friend button you click. I agree all the babies are adorable but I have an incredibly soft spot for Griffis, and a few others.

Awww! I would be honored, but I'm not sure if it's right for me to take their firstborn. That's kinda special, yes? :)

Oh! About the essences, I have stumbled upon a couple while just nurturing and battling (only regulars though), is there any particular pattern to how you obtain them, or is it all mostly random? And can better essences also be found like this?

The essences through battling are random and rather rare. The ones you get through nurturing are rare as well but seem to be of the breed you nurtured. Also yes the first born are special but every baby is special because you never know how it's going to turn out and it's fine. I usually gift the first baby of a pair to friends.
