Hey all - out of sheer personal curiosity, collecting data about how far people are in the storyline/Grove specifically. Made a lil google form, does not require log in or collect any personal data at all. My excuse for being where I am currently in the LG is the fact that when the LG first came out, I saw how grindy it was, and that put me off. Just recently I came back to the LG and I am definitely finding it more okay than when I last played it. Sure I'm still slowly trudging along trying to catch up to all those who are way ahead of me but I'll get there one day, it's just gonna take a bit of time.

im probably more of an oddity as i was using walkthrough guides as i created my starter. (overkill, i know) because of this, i ended up reaching the grove in two days. now i dont move so fast anymore, haha, its a lot of grinding.

Explanation in case labels are too small or cut off:
0 - Pre-Astryl's vale. No LG access.
01 - Stages 1-5
02 - Defeated the first behemoth, not yet in caves
03 - Stages 6-9
04 - Stages 10-12, not beaten the worm yet
05 - Beaten worm, not touched temple
06 - In temple 1
07 - In temple 2
08 - In temple 3
09 - In temple 4
10 - in crypt, haven't beaten vexxar
11 - Beaten vexxar

I am where I am because I am a casual player that mostly focuses on theme collecting and projects. I just don't have the time to hard core grind due to adulting xD. Also there is the eventual burnout that happens in all games once in a blue moon and I have to break for a week or so from any grinding and chill with another game.

I'm where I am purely because the grinding isn't fun for me. It takes too much time, and because I play on mobile I can't mute the grove so I can listen to YouTube videos or music. Quite sucky because that's the only thing that helps me get through grindy things. I also rather enjoy breeding and collecting pets, instead of grinding usually. So yeah, I'm still in stage 1, and quite frankly I couldn't care less that I am.
