right now I'm using shadow-air-light, it seems the easiest team to just keep generating health while doing normal questing. I have one max stat pet I could replace one of them with, and I'm wondering what would help me most.

A bit late to the party but just to add a response here, I'd personally say Air. Having a maxed out DPS pet makes the biggest difference, IMO, as you can make it through a lot of mistakes and mechanics just by simply out damaging them.
