So heres my team (it's not the best because first of all, it's just a test team, and second of all, I'm pretty bad at making teams..)

- Cherry (Shadow Tank)
- Valorose (Fire, thinking of changing to Wind?)
- Sakura (Light Healer)

Any help or advice on team building would be nice!! I plan on keeping Valorose and Sakura as my Sylesties, but I might switch out Cherry for whatever reason.

EDIT: I recently switched out Sakura to 3rd in my party and it's SO much better..I realized that her health compared to Valorose's was really low.

With this team you might struggle a fair bit once you hit the Lost Grove, since they're low-stats (mainly the HP makes the difference since its level bonus has an exponential growth rather than flat rate like the other stats)

I personally use Earth/Light/Air as my main team, it's my favourite setup, (secondary team water/light/fire, tertiary team water/light/air. I don't use shadow tanks because I just. Don't gel with them.)
For the Final Boss Earth/light/air also seems to be the absolute best team setup, but there's a lot of ground between lv60 and facing him, so it's just something to consider for future plans not an immediate thing.

As the team stands:
Cherry
> Equips are all lower level, all epic+rare tier, although the right sort overall for a shadow tank.
I'd suggest seeing about picking up legendary lv50 illusionist equips for her (from broker or from lv50 mission satchels) or waiting until lv60 and getting either Exotic (rare tier LG equips) or Vinethorn (epic tier lg equips) Reaver gear (from the broker if you aren't up to LG)
(Exotics are a lot cheaper, being sold for a few k per piece. VT tend to go for 10-30k- above VT in power there's Stoneweave (legendary) and Primordial (mythic) but those run 100k+ per piece (SW) or 1m+ per piece (Prim) on the broker)

So: Lv50 legendary Illusionist gear
or
lv60 Reaver gear (Exotic or Vinethorn) once she's lv60

Sakura
> She has two Assassin equips which aren't doing much for her- those are Str/Agi equips, used for Physical Tanks (Earth, water)
> Go for either legendary lv50 Evoker or Illusionist (most people use Evoker (int/dex) on their light healers, but it just depends on if you want more agi or more dex really)
OR
Pyromancer or Lightbringer exotic or VT equips (valid immediately since she's over lv60 and can use them)

Valorose
> equips bad. Three Str/Dex and a disciple (at least the disciple is the relic so he is getting some magic damage boost), all low-level.
> As a Fire pet you want Int and Dex, so
lv50 legendary Evoker gear,
or raise to lv60 and equip
Pyromancer gear



Valorose has higher HP because he has an HP prof point. Generally* you don't want HP profs on an attacker since you want all-out attack and dex on them
(* there can be exceptions, some people do just like having the buffer hp for example, and it probably helps when you're working with low base hp like these three have)

Thank you! I have pretty bad stuff right now since I'm planning to stick to lower level areas to explore and find more items. As you can see on my profile, I only have 1 legendary armor, which is placed on Sakura, in which I'll probably change based on your advice. I hope I come across some more legendary armor but until then, I guess I'll try and change up a few things.

I am VERY surprised Cherry has the best gear out of all of them, as I didn't know if she would be a permanent part of my team. I'll be keeping her until I start testing more builds.

Alright, I tried looking it up, but not much came across to my understanding.

Could you help me with what points should be spent on what for my team? I definitely would spend a bit of gold just to reset points, to get that out of the way.

Tank pets (Water, Earth, Shadow, sometimes Light)
Combo of HP, Str/Int, and Agi, varies a bit by element, pet, and player, as to what works for them

Earth tends to be 3HP/3agi at lv75, might want to build up at a kind of 1:1 ratio, or lean towards Agi earlier

Water you usually want some Str on, maybe 1HP/2str/3agi or the like (their Ice sphere and ice barrier moves are based on the pet's physical damage stat, which is based on the Str stat)

Shadow/Light, I can't help much with, since, as mentioned, I don't use shadow tanks at all, so I don't have a strong grasp on their moves or how they generally do.
Most people use light healer rather than light tank, but light Tank would probably be 3int/3agi, or 1hp/3int/2agi maybe?


Light healers are typically run 3int/3dex for highest beam/fairy light output. Agi-boosting gear (Illusionist, Lightbringer, Reaver) optional, but most use Pyromancer (/Evoker), again for the dex.
Profs usually go full into Int before going elsewhere.


Fire attackers, 3int/3dex
Air attackers, 3str/3dex
lv60, they're generally 2attack/1dex, or 3attack, with full Evoker/pyromancer (fire) or Myrmidon/storm caller (air) gear


And again, HP profs on non-tanks is unusual, but some people like it

Thanks! Luckily I only needed to change a point for Valorose and that was all. That link will probably save me from a lot of problems in the future.

I've been asking a lot of questions, but could you check my team again? I changed a few things and just want to see what I should change or focus on.

Since the team is all over lv60, look to replace all lv60 and under rare or epic tier gear with LG gear where possible, as the LG gear is stronger even in its exotic(rare) tier.

Cherry should be given Reaver (or Lightbringer). I can't say what to replace first really since each of her equips has A failing each. She'll be fine with it outside the LG but the overall effect of them combined means she's just not getting out as much damage as she could, nor does she have as much agility as she could have, both things a shadow tank needs. LG equips also have MUCH higher boosts to HP, by a few hundred points, and to mana, which would help her a lot.

> Relic is low rarity, so it has low damage bonus
> Armor is disciple, so it has no specialty stat boosts, just an okay placeholder
> Bracer 1 is an Assassin bracer (Str/Agi), so it's not boosting the right attack stat
> Bracer 2 is low level and low rarity


Sakura should get Pyromancer or Lightbringer, replacing the Assassin armor first

> Disciple relic is just the same issue as Cherry's Disciple, no specialized stat boosts make it just Okay
> Armor is Assassin armor, so it's boosting the wrong damage stat. If you want to use the equip since it is a decent equip, you could give it to Cherry (it'd give 1 more point to her int stat than her Disciple armor is giving, and a lot more to her agi and HP stats) until you get lg gear
> Bracer 1 is fine, no issue, although it's another equip Cherry might benefit more from since she's the Tank and has more need of Agility than Sakura does (would replace either of Cherry's bracers, depending on if you want to boost Cherry's Int stat more (replace Assassin bracer) or her Agi stat more (replace Evoker bracer))
> Bracer 2 on the other hand is only lv50 and only epic, though it is the right sort


Valorose should get Pyromancer

> Disciple Relic's the same as the other disciple gear, okay, but not great
> all his other equips would actually be better replaced by, failing LG gear, lv50 legendary Evoker gear, which has decently higher stats than lv55 epic and lv60 rare equipment (eg, a lv50 leg. Evoker bracer gives 19 more Int bonus than the lv60 rare ones)


Failing LG gear, you could replace stuff that's rare/epic lv50/55/60 with lv50 legendary gear
> Illusionist on Cherry
> Evoker or Illusionist on Sakura
> Evoker on Valorose
(if you don't want to spend money buying them, having good mission pets doing lv50 very hard missions at Sanctuary of Saerielle nets the chance of lv50 leg. drops from mission satchels. Or Gold, which can be used to buy the things)
