In a world where the mermaids lived in harmony with other creatures and were experienced in exploring the sea, humans have been trying to catch the mermaids for decades as their scales can be used in medicine, for potions, can be sold for hundreds, and more. These humans are known as pirates. Taking advantage of these beautiful creatures' kindness in order to find their kingdom, one human has finally found the lost city of Demacia, the kingdom of mermaids. The human began to spread the word, telling anyone they can about the location. This lost kingdom may soon be invaded by the humans these mermaids once called allies. the merfolk need help. and fast.

Personality: kind, gentle, but can be despicable and mean. She is not her fathers' favorite because she refuses to take over the kingdom. She doesn't want the unbearable job of being the queen.
Backstory: Amira always had an eye for trouble. Once when she was younger, she had almost been caught by a pirate. A very cruel one at that. The princess was always clever enough to get herself out of the situation, though. She had tricked the pirate into jumping into the water and then jumped in after, dragging him down in the water. This all had happened when she was merely 200 years old. It may or may not also be the reason she is constantly surrounded by guards.

Lazy, smart, quiet, caring and cautious.
Backstory:
Alastor has been captured by the royals 10 years ago and was given to the the first prince of the human kingdom. Although the king and queenas where the kingdom of his people are at but Alastor doesn't trust them and flat out refused to tell them where the kingdom is at in the sea.
So has been locked up in a large aquarium large enough for him to live in but still is like a prison for him. He longs for the days to swim in the sea again. But he will play the pet for as long as he can.

Loyal, snarky, cunning, smart.
Backstory:
Azul is the witch of the sea. Making contacts for a price of course. But unlike his mother the past sea witch he doesn't want the person soul. He mostly wants books that he doesn't have or any supplies that he currently doesn't have either. Money also works even if he has enough to last him his whole life.
Now if a human wants a contract then it's a different deal. He will help but they will never remember what the deal was once the contract is complete. Of course they can't speak about the contract either or the location of the kingdom. Now you may ask how he gets business with humans. Well his pets do that for him. They tell humans where to find him. The rest is history.
Of course he was shocked when the secound eldest princess want a contract with him. The contract is between the two. Not even the king knows what's in the contract. (Also even I don't know the contract and that is because I don't know what Amira wants in the contract)

Artemis is strict especially when it comes with fashion. He is also cruel to traitors and those that harms his only child. He does have a soft spot for children but most childern runs away when they see his face. Which saddens him but his son chears him up.
Yuu is a sky kid. He is kind and loves animals. Although he does get bullied because of his hair which made him fearful on hurting others if they touch his hair. The only ones to touch his hair his papa(Artemis) for a reason he doesn't know how his papa isn't hurt.
Backstory:
Artemis is a duke and has been for about 20 years. He has a business for fashion. His clothes sells for cheap but at the best quality. At the age of 25 he met the love of his life. Whom was a male. They have been dating for 5 years and got married. Sadly his husband disappeared after the birth of his sweet and shy son. He has raised his son since then. Never trusting anyone to watch his son.

I was thinking of joining, and had an idea similar to Lovador, but reversed! a human whos kept as a pet/prisoner of the mer-people in a place with oxygen, like a deserted island! my thought was, the person would at first hate the mer-people, but would soon feel bad and start supporting them!

Appearance: basically a teenage guy, with black hair, decent build, and a tan. he also has a surprisingly feminine body, with soft skin and facial features, and hair long enough to go to his neck. most people mistake Louie for a girl at first.
Social status in the merkingdom: pet/prisoner of the royals of the mer-people
Social status in human kingdom: lost and forgotten. most people assume he's dead or don't know who he is.
Pet: him. he's da pet.
Personality: kind, quiet, shy, can be scary when mad, caring
Backstory: she was on a nice fishing trip and was spotted by mer-people and was accused of being a spy for humanity. she was captured, her ship sunk, her catches released, and she was trapped on a small island with no way off and with no belongings besides the clothes on his back. he made a living for himself by foraging and gardening, drinking and bathing from a river, and even finding wild pigs and taming them. but he's still lonely and scared.
also, can we do a 1 on 1? doing RPS with multiple people triggers anxiety for me.

We may be able to do a 1 on 1, but I dont do 1 on 1 Rps a lot.
