So I got to Talon at the Nightfall Dungeon and I am unable to beat him. I have two pets that are above level 30 and I have used all my points to advance them.I can't seem to get enough gold to add a third pet to my group. I am also unable to finish the big battle at the grotto I think it is for the same reason. My pets have been fed too. What am I doing wrong?

Unfortunately I don't have any advice for you, but I'm in the same boat! My pets are around level 33 but I'm still afraid to try again, since that'll mean spending on elixirs and whatnot. It's especially frustrating because my pets are high enough level that I can really only level them up further at this point in the game by doing missions. Hope someone has some good advice for us both!

1. Look into buying better gear. Try the broker, try to find equipment that have a purple or orange square around it.

2. Do your pets have a certain build? For now, center on having two stats high: your attack stat (whether strength or intelligence) and hp. Don't try to have level up points spread out. o:

Tell me if you need help on something specific.

All equipment slots are filled with blue and orange level gear. Too late on the stats thing I guess as they are already allocated.

You can always reset them with gold. c: It's quite cheap I think. (If you don't have gold, tell me; I can give you some for free. Once you get past this battle, you should be able to get to the next region, and you can save up to get a 3rd party slot.)

I'm at 22k almost now so I'm working at getting that slot. Then I can add another pet and level it up

Finally beat the stuffing out of him. That jerk. Such a pain. My pets were at level 35, with their stats concentrated as a tank (damage taker; health and strength) and an attacker (strength and dexterity/health). That third slot really would have helped, though. Hope you get it soon. Good luck!

I added the third pet slot and still can't beat either one.

I am also down to 750 in gold so I can't bring my pets back or do anything else for awhile either.

Sorry to hear that. Did you make sure that your health (obviously) as well as mana were full beforehand, and that the mend cooldown was over (or almost)? Someone also mentioned stat builds, and those really help. It might take you a little bit to save up to rebuild your pets' stats, but just do a few missions and you'll have enough. Health/agility and/or attacking stat is good for your tank (active pet; they have to take most of the damage), with attacking stat/dexterity for the other two. Just take a little time to save up, rebuild your stats if needed, and try to get some healing items (ideally through missions, so you won't have to buy them), and you'll beat him. It seemed impossible to me at first, but I promise it can be done!
