How can I do a CoD Trade for example sending a pet without risking another person taking it? Or a item or wardrobe acc?

Pets don't need a CoD (since that's the term used for item trading), you just need to set the pet to the recipient player's ID.
When you click the "Manage Pet" button on a pet's page, you'll want to put in the price the other player is paying for the pet (at least 1g, since if it's 0g the pet just isn't counted as being for sale) in the Sale Price box, and in the box directly below that the ID (I usually have the recipient's page open and just copy/paste, since that way I can't typo it)
With items in the inventory (which is where wardrobe items need to be to send them), go to Inventory, select the item, select the little letter-with-arrow icon that lights up (so long as it's a tradable item- obviously it cannot be done with non-tradable items)
This brings up a popup, and it's the same thing as with pets- input the player name of the recipient (again, I usually copy from their player page to avoid typos), or alternately select from the dropdown if you have the player in your friends list. In the box that says 'CoD fee' you put the price the other player is to pay upon receiving it (although in this case, 0g is valid if it's meant to be a gift)
For things like Catalysts, which must be sent via the Brewing page, you send the item to the player, and then send them a useless item from your inventory (fairy mushrooms are a favorite for this) with the intended CoD fee. (In this case it's best to have the agreement in text- pms, forum posts, screenshot of chat so if the other player doesn't accept the cod trade you can take it to Krinadon (this can potentially also be a good thing to have with the others, if you don't do the Copy/Paste method and typo, accidentally sending something to the wrong player, but that is why I C+P)
(obviously in the first two scenarios the recipient can't really take the thing and not pay the price since it's directly tied to them getting the thing, unlike this third case)
(for extra, trading for diamonds- In the Currency exchange, the person who will be receiving the diamonds makes a trade that is "I am selling 1 gold for x diamonds" since that way the other player is buying 1g using their diamonds; nobody is going to do that under normal circumstances, so it's a safe bet that only the intended person will be buying your 1g)

if the pet has been set for a specific player to buy then other people cannot buy it, only them. (hence the importance of making sure you have the player id input correctly.
The pet will only appear as being for sale to that player; nobody else will have it come up as being for sale either if they're searching for for-sale pets or if they go to its page.

Just a tiny clarification, since I've seen some confusion over this in the past, leading to lost pets: the player ID is the User ID number (like mine is 15483), not their username. If you enter the username the field won't recognize it and will just list the pet for public sale, so always make sure that you're entering the User ID number in the 'sell to user ID' box.
