for the context of this sitcuation; i have a greater genetic mutator i'm planning on using on pet but don't know if 'exclusive' pets the same as a tamed pet

examples; Tamed zone pet vs. grown fest pet

given that one says tamed and the other says exclusive can you only use it on the one(s) that say tamed? or does exclusive and tamed mean the same thing?

Tamed pets are pets you found into the wild, while exclusive have to be spawned in. Anything that require you to toss a net or collect an egg from a wild nest is tamed.

You can only use the philter on pets comming from the wild, or tamed. In your case only Dahlia could get more gene through that methode. ^-^

Edit : wild Ny'vern/Puffadores and scales eggs are handled a bit differently since while they are spawned in through their respective shop, they are still marked as wild and thus you could still use a mutator on them. This is why i made the distinction between from the wild and tamed.
