Hello, welcome to sylestia ! It's alwais fun to see new members joining the comunity. ^-^

I saw there was an event on, how do I participate?
The summer festival is still wide open. It's a limited time zone with bosses, rare color-coordonated pets and special rewards you can collect when exploring. The fabled speacie connected to the summer festival is the Lightra so, for this period only you can encounter those rare lion-like sylestis in the wild.

There are several games and objectifs you can work on to receve rewards :

1. The log in rewards, you get somthing free everyday until you finish that card just by claming the item daily.

2. the festival zone, the main area where you can collect supplies and avatar items

3. sylesti sculpting, not all themmed are wild, two of each speacies are exclusively made through this methode. I sent you a few things to get you started as soon as possible ! ^-^

4. tresaure beach seeking : Using roads and shovels you can get from the festival zone, the task log and the festival shop, you can get items ranging from tokens to diamond shop items or even catalyst to create pets with.

5. the secret map : you can get those secret maps through rare boss drops or log-in rewards, the items you get from it will usualy be post-game related (lost grove crafting materials and flasks) but sometime you can get catalyst from those as well.

6. the task log, preaty self explanatory, you can compleate tasks to get special rewards, some are reset dily while others can only be clamed once

7. sylesti contest : those are usualy for more advenced players, you can still participate, of course but getting on the top of the leaderboard could be difficult at your curent level.

8. the sylesti themmed list : It's a glosary of all avalable themmed you can run into or get through other mean during the festival, it's very helpfull to figure out what you may want from the start.

9. the festival shop : using the tokens you get by doing almost anything festival related, you can buy supplies or avatar items at this shop.

I found an egg during the tutorial, is it worth anything?
I doubt you would be able to sell it for much but, it may be worth holding onto until it hatch and test the offspring genetic.

What is the best way to profit in this game and how can I find new pets?
There isnt much of a way to profit outside of festival sales maby but even those are limited and crash fairly quickly. Here is a guide on how to make gold.

As for pets, you can eather catch or buy them from others players, tho catching pets for re-sale isnt usualy worth it (unless they are themmed ferriki/nephilini or have 40+ grove stats, those can be sold for very high prices) so you should only catch pets you like the look off, especialy in the starting zones.

How can I get rare pets early in the game?
Well, the festival is alwais a good option, or you can buy them from breeders.

Is there an auction house where I can buy and sell?
Yes, most players will use the AS (advenced search) to find what they are looking for. Asside from max/super stats usualy the market place dosnt get much interest from older players unfortunately.

you use nets, a merchan can sell you some near the entrance of the zone, dont wory about missing a themmed capture tho, a daily task will give you 3 strong snare traps uppon encountering any themmed in the festival zone (even if they are eggs). ^-^

As for the things i send, go check your sculpting supplies, i am not sure if i sent you 6 pink coating or if i missclicked and sent you only one, let me know if you dont have enough. Those are allowing you to chose the gender of your sculpting pet, blue is for male, pink is for female. You just nead to click on an open sandbox, get it filled up and select the catalyst in it, the perl will allow you to make it a 2 visibles.

I recomand you go around the festival zone and interact with every chest/floating items you come across, it shoudnt take too long for you to get 5k that way. Good luck and good hunt ! ^-^
