I've had this account for about 20 days now. I never realized how closely knit the community on here is, but it makes sense as it's a small community (relative to other mmos and online rpgs).

So I figure I'd introduce myself. I really enjoy playing Sylestia and intend on playing for a while. I've started to recognize who the active players are (by seeing re-occuring threads, listings on the trade broker, and the chat).

I had one player reach out to me when I was playing during my first week and it was awesome. Honestly, it's because of them, that I think I am playing as much as I am right now, so shout out to them.

I don't know if threads like these get read and replied to. They usually don't in other communities, but I figure I'd try to introduce myself anyway.


Little things about me:
I'm an Engineer and am always at my computer
I am an instrumentalist (piano and guitar mainly)
a dancer of all styles (ballet, hip hop, contemporary, bboying, etc)
I have a nearly 2 year old husky and I love her
And I do this thing called martial arts tricking (essentially just doin flips like a ninja)

Ooh what does "fire protection engineering" entail? Is it like... making sure buildings and products are safe...? Or is it like... designing firemen gear? :') I feel so dumb rn lmao but it's a legit question I have. ;-; :'D

Fire Protection Engineering is for the most part - fire alarms, fire rated walls/fire containment for storage warehouses, explosion proofing hazardous materials, sprinkler systems :)

I went to art uni, got a bachelor in graphic design and didn't use it! xD For awhile was a board director for a community association and I did the newsletter every month... but got the job I have now and had to stop.

I'm now a network analyst. I basically monitor the internet and fix stuff when it breaks. :P

Martial Arts Tricking is basically acrobatics that have martial arts roots. If you've ever watched any deadpool movies, all the stunts are based off of martial arts tricking!
