you arent happy in your life of 9 to 5 jobs, boredom, and lack of... well, of life. you then remember your grandfather, who had passed on a long time ago, left you a secret thing in his will. you double-check the will and realize he left you a new life: a deed to his old farm, in Stardew Valley. its better than your boring life, so you pack your bags, spend the last of your cash on a bus ticket, and head out to your nw life.

Kino Smith

Kino ruffled his hair as he stepped off the bus and waved the driver on with a thankful nod of his head. Finally somewhere that felt like home. Not only that a place to truly fine out who he is and what he is capable of without the reins of others expectations. He took a deep breath of the fresh farm air {Ah. Nice! I feel like I could run for days here!} he said to himself as he sling his backpack over his shoulder.

Then an old man with an (admittedly awesome) grey mustache, old-timer hat, and green shirt walked over. He smiled. *hello. Im the mayor, Lewis. Your the new farmer, correct?*

Kino jumped a little as he whirled around *Ah yes! thats me, the names Kino.. uh, Kino Smith* he said extending his arm to shake the mayors hand with a smile. * this is such a nice little spot you guys have here* he said his eyes still shining at the tropical scenery mixed with the homey feel of a farm

The mayor smiled and shook. *indeed! Let me show you to the farm.*

He smiled and walked down a little bit, before entering a really beachy farm. It was super pretty, with a decent amount of room, sand, and water.

He smiled. *this is your new home. We have a run down house a little bit away, and will fix it up for you.*

Kino was impressed it was such a nice spot and there were so many things to do and work on * that sounds Fantastic actually! I really needed a challenge, any recommendations on where to start??* he asked placing his hand on his side.

He held out a bunch of seed packets for turnips. *there should be a set of tools in the house. Grab those and plant them. You can also mine stones, chop down trees, and make a living for yourself.*

Kino nodded there looked like a lot of work to be done but that only brought a smile to Kinos face as he gladly revived the bags of turnip seeds. *thank you again Mr. Mayor* Kino said as he spotted the house the Mayor spoke of. * by the way, I like the Mustache! Looks good on you!* he called out with a wave as he headed to the house to look for the tools

he laughed and walked off.

the tools were inside in a chest. there was also a bed, an old-fashioned TV, and a... person?

a red-haired girl, with a yellow shirt. she held a tool box in one hand and a hammer and nails in the other. she looked over and smiled. *oh, hello! im Robin, the... i guess repairwoman. Lewis asked me to repair this house for the new farmer. i guess thats you?*

Kino was charmed by the simple set up of the little house. Unfortunately Mrs. Robin caught him a little off guard making the young man become rather flustered * oh uh sorry, yes thats me, Im Kino . I wasnt expecting company right off the bat* he said clumsily collecting a forked hoe and a spade shovel out of the chest. *seems there is a plenty to do here thats for sure, but nothings more satisfying than seeing a project come together * he said seeming a little less uncomfortable after finding and fiddling with his tools
