Regality design contest





Design a sylesti that would be seen as a more regal type, like a king or queen. I will be judging based on color scheme, genes, how well everything looks, and name coherence. male and female don't have to be the same, but I would like lore. for example, are your two king and queen, or silings fighting for the throne. lore won't be judged outright, but may help tigh your design together.

The Deplorable Inhabitant of His Psyche


His Majesty Atraxilion III was renowned for his kind and noble heart. But not nearly as much so as he was known for his strength and wit in battle. While being a forgiving man, he was forced to cut men down many a time while on the field of battle. He found it to be quite detestable when his fellow man would smite thine enemy without a hint of hesitation or guilt. For he treated his subjects with fairness and his enemy with respect as he hated making a show of his power.
But as time wore on, due to his kind nature, and unbeknownst to his royal subjects, his majesty's psychological state began to deteriorate. He couldn't take anymore killing. With each swing of his sword he felt the cries of pain and anguish reverberating through his head, but he couldn't let his people down. For a loss in battle would cost him and his closest allies their lives as well as his subjects livelihood!
So the war dragged on and along with his victory came a new acquaintance. Be it friend of foe, his majesty could not be sure. All he knew, was that she acclaimed herself Lady Karsonia Al Rishe. She had a knack for making her presence known in his times of greatest torment. Lady Karsonia did naught to aid in his pain. She would in fact only feed into his guilt and regret. For he hadn't gained an ally, but he had received a woman who knew him like no other.
Lady Karsonia knew everything there was to know about his majesty Atraxilion, for she was a simple figment of his imagination. He had unwittingly created her from his own guilt at having murdered his foes and the few hazy memories that remained of his dearest betrothed, the late Lady Karissa. Lady Karsonia haunted him, nigh plagued him with paranoia and self loathing. Her hold on him tightened until he was no longer able or willing to go beyond the interior of his room, let alone beyond the castle walls. And with that, he grew ill and within mere days, perished. Taking Lady Karsonia and his many begotten sorrows with him.
