Before your eyes, a flash of train cars passed in front of you, screeching to a halt. The door slides open, you have an overwhelming call to enter the car. You slowly walk towards the entrance's glow, the door practically pulling you in. When you enter, you're consumed by a bright light. Next thing you know, you wake up in a completely random and different place than where you were. (Be it an arcade, a field, or perhaps a super mall.) You look at your hand to find a glowing number on it.


Welcome to the Train to Nowhere! This roleplay is centered around my current favorite tv show, Infinity Train. All you need to know about the show is listed below:
- You can play as a passenger on the (lovingly nicknamed) therapy train. Your passenger has had a rough life, so the train has appeared to help them grow as a person and cope with their traumas.
- Based on your actions, your number can go up or down.
- When your character gets their number to zero, they can leave the train and go home.
- There are creatures called Denizens that live on the train, they are numberless and are there to help the passenger, and might even choose to join them on their adventures.
- Each train car is different, some with puzzles, others are just scenic and easy to pass through.
- Be careful, straying from the train can lead to coming in contact with some rather nasty creatures. (Dog/cicada-like things that are known for draining the life out of people)

1. One passenger per person.
2. Be respectful towards others, or I will blacklist you without hesitation.
3. Semi-Literate (Three + sentences, a good understanding of grammar/spelling.)
4. No NSFW. Cursing is fine, as long as it isn't grotesque.
5. No excessive violence.
6. Don't metagame, you'll get blacklisted.
7. Human passengers only, please.
8. I will control major plot points; if you have suggestions, feel free to say.
9. I encourage you to be inquisitive, I want you all to have fun.

Personality:
Cody is a usually sharp-witted teenager. They are a city-slicker, street-smart from years of living on the outskirts of Chicago. He's determined and hard-working, not afraid to get his hands dirty to get what he needs. Cody used to be bull-headed and troublesome, fighting anything he didn't like, stealing what he wanted, and just being an absolute menace. He was still smart, just didn't use the skills given to him.
He's loyal to a fault now, knowing when to leave a situation if it gets too out of hand. He might not want to leave, but he knows when to cut his losses. It takes a lot to get them roweled up now, they don't want trouble and you don't either. They can still be snappy by default. All they want to do now is get off this train.

Backstory:
He was raised by a single mother with a little sister, who worked so hard to take care of her child only for them to live in a tiny apartment outside of the city. He's always felt like he's needed to do something so he stole, resold, and fought since he was ten. His mother would always wonder where the extra money came from but they never said anything about it, always playing clueless. One day though, when he was fourteen, he was caught swiping someone's phone. While he sat in that detainment cell, waiting for his mother, the train showed up. They don't remember much after that, just waking up in a department store. After that, they did the same thing that they did back home until they realized what they were doing wasn't the purpose of the train. At that point, their entire right arm was covered in numbers up to their elbow.

Why are they on the train?:
They stole out of the want to help their mother.

Personality: Maeve is a quiet and distant individual who often keeps to herself she is eerily similar to a Tsundere first comming off as Cold, untrusting and harsh almost mean towards people she doesn't trust but deep down she's rather sweet and kind and protective the only time she shows her true kind side is towards animals and children. (Her cold Tsundere act is to protect herself from being hurt)

Backstory: Maeve Holmes was used to have a normal life until she was ten years old and bagged her parents to go to a large aquarium that just opened after days of constant begging her father finally gave in but unfortunately on the way to the aquarium the family was involved in a car accident that tragically took the maeve mother her father in his grief blamed Maeve for her mother death (he believed if Maeve didn't beg to go then she still be alive) and her father began changing from a normal father to a cold and distant man who ignored Maeve or was hostile due to this Maeve herself pushed people away and became cold like her father as a result but this is due to protect herself

Why are they on the train?: father got fired from his job due to not turning up Maeve began stealing to feed herself and hot wiring and stealing cars to seel to shady people. Meave also beat up a boy who bulled her

I'm so sorry for not responding sooner, I thought that the entire platform kind of died, but I'm honestly still up to reopen this if more people want to join. I thought I was keeping an eye on how things were going on here too just in case something interesting happened. Again, I'm so sorry.
