If you lose a battle you obviously lose at least the health points. Do you lose anything additional?

you lose nothing if you lose a battle, you just need to either revive your pets or wait for them to recover and carry on your way

Just wanted to add, your battle record gets adjusted too on your profile page. However this has absolutely no impact on anything at all :)
