User levels are usually to tell the progress of your pet leveling. c: It's based on the highest level of the pet *you own*.

You can't control pets from other owners (whether you bought them or was given them) with a higher level than you. That's what it's mainly used for.

But if your level is determined by the higher level pet and you bought an even higher leveled pet, can you or can you not control it because now it's in your possession and is your level?

For it to raise your user level, you've got to level up the pet. Say I have a lv 58 pet in possession since i bought it from somebody, and I'm currently lv 5. Once I level up the lv 58 pet to lv 59, the user level will rise to lv 59. You can still send pets with a higher user level than yours on missions, just cant put them in your party

Krin told me before, it's because you probably sent a pet on a mission, making it level 60, and that increases your User Level without your party pets doing anything. That's what happened to me. XD

I figured, recently I've been sending heaps of pets on missions heh XD
