I know about the one you can buy in the diamond shop but at this time I cannot get it and I finally used the one I got when I first signed up (because I was actually able to get a pet with a known carried gene), so I'm wondering where else can get get these Genetic Test Kits? It'd be nice to know for when I want to start breeding XD

One place to get it is the Trade broker look under consumables.

Yep. For now, there's no other way to get them. :c
But scanners were dropping like crazy during the event, so they should be plentiful. If you want some for free, just PM me or something. c:

Oh thank you Flute! I wish I had joined the month before last then I would have been able to reap the rewards of that area xD I only managed to get 1 scanner
