Some forum posts have bigger fonts than others on mobile for some reason.

That is very odd. I have no idea what would cause this. But I also cannot reproduce it on PC or my phone.

It's happened to me on more than one occasion. I have an iPhone, if that makes a difference. Is there anything I could show you from my phone when it's happening that would be helpful?

Does it always do this to the same posts? Or does it change if you reload the page?

The posts it's doing it to now are different than they were when I took that screenshot, but they stay the same no matter how many times I reload or open a new tab and navigate to forums again.

Currently, under 'Pet Marketplace' it's doing it to
- "pet sale conduct (read before selling pets)" and
- "stable and hatchery sale! 200-500!"

On page 2, it still does it to the pet sale conduct one, and also does it to
- "mass hatchery sale only 50"

On page 3, it again still does it to the pet sale conduct one, and also does it to
- "free pets!"
- "spring sales [ themed & regular ]"
- "~small sylesti sale~ (eggs mostly)"
- "pet sale. please buy these sylestis from me. I need the..." (But for that one, only the post's author is in a large font size, not the post's title)
- "Dutch luffox sale", and
- "pets for sale"

Not sure if that data helps figure out what those posts have in common, but in case it does, I figured I'd give you a couple pages of data to work with.

Interestingly, nothing on the 'forum index' page is the wrong size, that all looks fine. But the problem seems to occur in any specific section of the forum I go to. I just used 'pet marketplace' as an example.

My hunch is that this is some sort of setting you have set on your device - like some sort of automatic readability/resizing functionality. I checked on my end, and there's literally nothing at all that would be causing it. The ones that are resized for you are stored in our database as just literal plain text. And then the code just loads each thread exactly the same - it isn't applying any changes to some vs others.

So my best guess is that this is a setting/configuration with your device or the browser you're using.

Hm, okay. That's interesting, since I haven't set any readability/accessibility/resizing settings on my device. I wonder whether all iPhone users will have this issue, then? I also wonder if there's something you can do from your end to explicitly prevent it? Other websites must have some way of doing that, since this doesn't happen on any other sites.

Could be. Things like that though are exceptionally difficult, if not virtually impossible, to diagnose with the given information atm. I would need probably other players to come forth with the same issue providing their information and then either figure out a way to reproduce the issue on my end or find an exact duplicate issue somewhere on the internet to reference from.

As it is now, finding out the problem is probably 10x harder than finding a needle in a haystack. =D

Haha gotcha. Not to worry, then, it doesn't affect usability or anything. Just a bit of a funny easter egg haha
