They were for the barracks, which I don't have, hence the confusion. It's all good.

I would like to clarify that this may be a misunderstanding on my part, but given as it has happened more than once, I want to be sure.

Over the last few days, I've won a Nightfall item, something with the Crazed Druid that either said "white" or "snow", and a Nightfall hat.

The last message I saved and it read: "You have found some materials: Design: Nightfall Battlemage's Cavalier Hat x1 (1)!"

That seemed like an avatar item to me, but as it said "materials", I checked the barracks and found nothing similar. None of those items were found in my inventory or wardrobe either.

(I don't recall the other 2 being classified as materials, but I could have missed it. As is the case with the most recent, I had assumed that the other 2 were avatar items)

Sorry if this is just a case of operator error, I wanted to report it in case there is an actual issue. Thanks for your help in advance.

Avatar item Designs are not a physical avatar item or regular lg material, rather they're the recipe that allows for crafting certain lost grove avatar items in the Blacksmith in the barracks.
If you go to the barracks, and into the blacksmith, there's a thing specifically for avatar items- click onto that tab, and you can use the menu there to select what design you want to craft once you have the Design piece, and it will show you what actual lg materials you need
