im stuck on my first battle with 10 mania, it wont let me end the turn and i have nothing in my inventory. please help i wanna play this game

and you have: a) Selected a move for your pet to use (fireball, in this case, since your pet is fire element- The first/base attack of all elements generates mana, rather than using it), b) selected target enemy for that move?
What your inventory has isn't relevant to ending turns (item usage in battle is an additional, not a whole turn)
