"Handful of Candy" (the Fall Festival item) is showing up under the "Philter" type. (I assume it should go under Miscellaneous instead, like the Wrapped Gift from the Winter Festival.)

Actually, nope. The Handful of Candy was actually categorized as a philter. I changed it for the Wrapped Gift.
