I know our pets are already...SUPER customizable as it is xD but what if just like our Custom items we could have Custom pets??

For example, you buy an essence from the Diamond shop that says "Custom Pet Essence" and you can recolor the pet plus add mutations and genes from the game to your desire. Each gene and mutation added on is extra diamonds for that essence. There can be like two various Custom Essences, the regular which are just recolors like the Custom Items and then there's Super Custom Essences where you add genes/mutations of your own. These pets are not breedable.


What do you think? Yes? No? Why or why not?

Reminds me of when my friend showed off to me the custom creation on Aywas.

She mainly showed off the tedious process of the custom breeding, the custom artist, the extreme expenses of such, and well, it turned me off. LOL. Mainly because this rings happily to someone with the coin to drop. xD Not only that. If you make such a customized pet, it thwarts the aspect of a nicely colored pet within the confines of the current system, y'know? Why go through the trouble of breeding a 6vis over several months when you can pay $80-100 for something TOTALLY AWESOME?

Anyways, I guess I can not be so negative. This would be nice, so long as it's equal opportunity for everyone. Not just for cash-droppers, nor grinders. Prize giveaways are cool too.

But I assume that the bestest thing for the community is the custom system we have in place. One where if someone has a good idea, everyone can indulge in it potentially by getting a pet with said customized genes.

I played Aywas once...ONCE. xD Its impossible to breed unless you're rich. I got tired of it, the breeding aspect was such a tease. Maybe, like you said these essences can be give away items, show up during festivals and such. :D And to start everyone gets one FREE !

If they weren't like legendary/mythical items it would give everyone a fair chance to retrieve them, I think they should be as common as essences you find when nursing pets in the hatchery.However, I also think people who do spend a pretty penny on the game should get what they pay for. xD so guess to me its kind of conflicting.

I don't really understand what you're asking for, do you mind trying to clarify a bit more?

To me, it sounds like you're just wanting an essence that's a universal essence (not tied a specific species) that lets you choose its colors and traits. Which is why I think I'm missing something because our essences already allow for that. =P

an all in one potion? that sounds pretty cool.

XD Well I suppose I confused myself making this post with that idea because that does sound like what I'm trying to ask. What I'm asking is for an essence that we can buy to create pets with CUSTOM markings and genes. For example, say someone drew a picture of an Sylestia OC that made but they have custom markings and things like necklaces with specific charms or style, spots, scars. like zolnixi with scars on its ears, and like...rainbow fur with a charmed necklace. These pets would be here for the sake of roleplay since we have a pretty large RP community and to look pretty and fight. xD these pets would not be breedable and mutators wouldn't work on them since their image is custom. Just like the Custom monthly items.
The word for it being Personalized pets. I know the pets on here are already really custom because we design how they look from the beginning.

Well I mean, like for the release of the new Essence everyone would get ONE. If you want to buy more and people who come after the release have to pay for them or find them in game. OR we could have random sales on the essence now and then/ gifts in festivals.

This is sorta something we've considered in the past but ultimately decided it wasn't in the game's best interest to offer this service.

It's a possibility for some point in the future I suppose, but atm I wouldn't hold your breath.

As a 'compromise', we released the custom gene and mutation orders (as well as avatar items for those interested in custom avatars).

^^ I expected that, just thought I'd give the idea a go. The custom genes & mutations thing is awesome though !!
