Merripen was stood awkwardly outside of the 1A classroom. Their taxi got here a little late, so they were sure that their classmates would be a bit ticked off by the interruption. He wasn't usually such a "Nervous Nelly", but he had to cut himself some slack as he just transferred into one of the more well-known schools in the modern world.
The fair-haired teen straightened his uniform and took a deep breath before stepping into the room full of their new peers. As they entered they had a relaxed smile, making themself look confident; not wanting to look too much like a piece of fresh meat thrown to the carrion birds.

Akkio had ironically arived rather early being the daugher of a cafe owner she was used to early mornings helping her mother open the cafe before she started school so naturally arrived early and had already tried meeting most of her classmates including Tenya Iida and Katsuki bakugou who she thought was more similar to a angry pomeranian with a sore head than a teenage boy.

Akkio was sitting down on a empty chair in the second row putting up her light grey hair into a ponytail while she listed to denki kaminari taking to Jiro about music they both enjoyed when she saw the door open and saw merripen walk in "oh" she said and smiled at him and stood up "hello are you in class 1-A?" She asked loudly for him to hear and walked over ignoring as Tenya told her off for yelling in a classroom by the time she reached them she was already smiling "Hello my name is Kamei Akkio" she said softly using the traditional Japanese way of saying her last name before her first

Merripen jumped at the sudden shout, not expecting such a quick greeting. "Yes I am, I would have been here last night if my ride didn't mix up dates" They gave a wave, of their hands when talking, a friendly smile on their face. They did a quick study of the other new faces, as if ready for a crowd to gather.

"Nice to meet you, Kamei-", They said, holding out a hand. "The name's Merripen Maenad- or well, by your culture's standards- Maenad Merripen." Merripen paused their babbling, second-guessing their offer for a handshake; unsure if they were a universal thing or not. "But please, call me Merri" They limply waved their hand around again.

As if on queue Midoriya jogged up, notebook open, pen at the ready. "My name is Midoriya Izuku- what's your quirk?"

He flashed a smile at the green child. "Spectral. My quirk allows me to transform into a fifteen-foot tall tank of a creature, but I have to ease into it or else I'll rip my tendons slash ligaments." They paused for a breath. "I could probably show off later if we get any quirk training."

Akkio gave him a kind smile and gently shook his hand normally in Japan people would bow but having a British aunt she was used to nore western culture and greetings "it's a pleasure to meet you Merri you can call me whatever you like i have no preference" she said and smiled managing to point to people teeling him what their names were before midoria had arived, Akkio eye's widened at izuku antics but quickly laughed them off used to the sweet boy fan boying over pro heroes and quirks "woah i must say that is extremely impressive i can see why you joined the hero corse" she said and smiled compared to merripen's quirk her's was a little simple

Momo walked over and smiled formally and politely introducing herself and bowed to merripen "good morning my name is Yaoyorozu Momo" she said and smiled "before midoria says anything my quirk creatoon i can make any non-living object or material as long as i knows the molecular structure like a pencil or sword it works by transforming by lipids and fat cells into the creations" she said and went into more detail

"Alright, cool!", Merripen smiled. Now that they got the initial awkward greeting out of the way, they could happily settle in, hopefully.

He didn't mind the fawning as Midoriya muttered to himself, scribbling in his book. Merripen leaned back onto a desk, assuming a more comfortable position because they guessed they'd be there for a while. They didn't note if anyone was sitting there or not. "Oh yeah, the big reason why I'm here is that my dad is a well-known western hero.", They, said itching the back of their head. "But my quirk is of course part of the reason why I aced my exams."

They greeted Momo. "Nice to meet you, Yaoyorozu.", He said. "Your quirk is food-based I'm guessing? I mean, it's super interesting, and could be useful in almost every situation." Merripen rested their arms over their chest, listening to their peers speak; letting their previous worries of judgment lay to rest.

Akkio nodded listing to him explain why he joined the hero corse and understood why he aced his exam though she was in a complete different group to midoriya and merripen and the rest of her group "impressive but i suppose it makws sense your quirk acts more like a offence or tank so it would be easy to fight the robots" she said and looked at merripen

Momo nodded and smiled he seemed to know a lot "yes it is" she repiled and looked at midoriya still taking notes "Akkio-san you never mentioned your quirk can you tell us or show us if you're able to?" Momo asked and smiled at her making Akiko blush and rub the back of her neck but soon smiled her face still flushed

"Robots?", They chirped. "I was entered into the program by my dad- we did something a wee bit different." Merripen shifted so they were sitting on the desk now. "But yes, my quirk is a spearhead in dire situations. Which is also where I work best, chaos.", The scruffy teenager gave an awkward giggle, not sure how to end that sentence.
They turned to Momo again with a smile. "Sorry, I knew a kid back home who had a similar quirk but all he could make was wax."
Merripen's gaze flitted back to Akkio and Midoriya. "Yeah, what is your quirk, Akkio?", They asked, tail waving curiously.

(I'm going to probably be gone for a couple of days due to moving, but I'll probably be back on Tuesday)

(Also, I think it would be funny to introduce Bakugou soon, with an insult at to the new guy, of course- lmao)

Momo explained in detail about the entrance exam and what it was about and about the robot point system even about the large one that was zero points "i didn't get any rescue points but i got lots of attack point's" she said and explained how she used her quirk to create things to defeat the monster's as well as how others in her group had dead like Akkio who got the highest rescue points but momo never saw Akkio so was unsure how she done it.


Akkio blushed more at their reaction merripen's tail was adorable but she wouldn't ever mention it "my quirk sure" she said and stood back and held up her right dominate hand and within second a small round three foot shield appeared the sheild looked extremely simular to Clear Quartz "my quirk crystal defence it meams i can make sheild from Crystal like sustainable " she said and explained she used her quirk to block attacks and protect others.

"How interesting, all we did is take a massive test and then did simulations because the exam center back in America "couldn't afford another accidental student injury." ", Merripen shrugged. "There were other things to do to get transferred over here, though, most of that was through my father and the school, though."

They swiveled their head back over to Akkio before noticing their tail. They held it down on the table until it stopped moving. Merripen whispered an apology before listening on.

"How interesting.", They mused, tapping the crystaline structure gently. "Weird thought, what if you could use your quirk on your feet? And use it as a stabilizer-" The blonde cut themself off, not wanting to interupt.
