" Disappointed I'm not dead? " She said, folding her arms cross her chest.

" If i was taking you here, then why would you escape only to come yourself? I can see why Temorin hates you...Hated, god rest his soul."
He laughed at himself with a small mischievous glint in his eye.
"Well, you're here now. Wether you like it or now doll, you're marrying me. Now little princess, I have business to attend to before the funeral, the coranation, and the wedding. Busy as a bee, ya know?"

" I don't appreciate you referring to me as a 'doll,' Nor 'Princess.' And I hope you know I will never recognize you as my husband. That position is reserved for Temorin, alive or dead. "

"Great, great, so you'll never get over yourself eh doll? That's fine, just makes you more fun. I don't know what Temorin told you, but I'm sure he never mentioned his intentions. He compromised a-lot for your sake, that idiot...well look at that, I'm late...ta ta for now!"

He earned a stern glare from her, before she turned and left the library. She already hated him, and hating people immediately was not something she usually did.

He didn't mind. He knew he deserved her glare.

The hallway was quiet aside from the maids that walked from place to place and the occasional visiting royal who came in honor of the funeral.

That one uncle from before the wedding was there, the one that threatened Temorin...

He tipped his hat to her with a polite smile.
"Hello dear."

She feigned her best smile and curtsied. " Hello. I believe you are...Temorin's uncle, correct? "

"Why yes."
And with that, he walked away. He was always tagged as a strange and mysterious man, never making any sense to the rest of the family. This was a prime example.

She watched him depart before turning and walking down the hall. he was quite...strange.

Strange indeed...

The halls were hers to roam. There was much to learn, much to do, and a life to save. The question is how?
