BTW, if you don't want to be pinged about the Statsongs, just say so. If you can Nurture the Statsong Hatchlings, however, every little attribute increase will help the project.

I kept breeding Triple Chocolate's parents and this is the closest offspring I have gotten so far:
Meet Chocolate Flakes!
As an adult, he takes on this appearance:
And he looks basically like Triple Chocolate but without the Naga Helmet.
As for a comparison...
I'm kinda happy with him, but I don't know. What do you guys think? Does he pull of Leaf Viens as greatly as Triple Chocolate does? I technically have several dyes I could use to match his Colour 3 with Triple Chocolate's, which might just fix up the Leaf Viens to become identicle.

Chocolate Flakes's Leaf Veins don't seem quite as golden as Triple Chocolate's do, DG. However, that may just be my monitor. See what others think.
I also think the Naga Helmet works better than the Fanned Head Fins do. But, IMO, there aren't many head Mutations that look good on male Sylvorpas.
Oh, and just to show off, look who recently joined my Stables--

A player who is leaving Sylestia, because reasons, gave her to me. She is an Un-Mutated Tamed Sylvorpa and is Re-generable, with three trait points. Her owner asked only that she have a good home. She totally will, and will be part of my "My Little Mantis Shrimp" Sylvorpa project.

DG: I think, Tiple Chocolate wears Leaf Veins a bit better ;-) It's the blue (or green, or whatever that color it called). Her Leaf Veins are fading into brown. That make the transitions from Leaf Veins to head work better.

I think I'm going to end up using a dye on him to try and get that fade-to-brown effect like Triple Chocolate has, to be honest. Otherwise, you're right - it doesn't quite work correctly.

I have absolutely no idea as to why that occurs. Maybe it is an optical illusion :o
It might actually be because the golden part of Chocolate Flakes is similar to the green-blue part of his Leaf Veins, but on Triple Chocolate the golden part of the Leaf Veinns is only comparable to brown. This probably makes it stand out more, if I'm honest (If you understand what I'm saying? I find it hard to explain).
