Lilura whoops and rolls down her window because... well... She sticks her hand out the window, enjoying the wind.

Casey smiled and shook his head. "Just a heads up, this trip might take a couple of days. We're going up into the mountains."

"Fun! Is there snow? I've never seen it before. I've heard it gets cold in the mountains. I grew up on a farm. Really hot there, not much cold." Lilura quickly ties her hair in a pony tail so the wind wouldn't whip it in her face.

"I'm...not sure, to be honest. There might be. And yeah, it gets chilly up there." Eventually, the roads get less and less active and more and more scenic.

Lilura rests her head on where the window disappeared into the car door, watching the scene. "It's so pretty." She says breathlessly.

He shrugged nonchalantly. "You get used to it." He turned off the highway and onto a narrow path. It was just able to fit the car

Lilura searches the top of the car to see if it had a retractable hood so she could see the sky.

Luckily it was a convertible, so it did.

Lilura gazes up at the sky, smiling in awe. "It's been a while since I've seen open sky."

"You have no idea," he said with a chuckle
