You look down and inspect the crystal that your companion had placed you on. A mix of dark blues and aqua made up a majority of the large swirling pattern within it. Bright oranges and yellows sat dotted around the middle of the crystal. It was rather pretty.
The larger of the three orange ones perks up and looks at you in a very odd way. It's face looked to be split in half, two colour beside a darker line. It made an odd questioning growl and took a cautions step forward.
It licks that water from your hands before shifting back away from you, creating a quiet grateful sort of growling noise or at least that is what it sounded like. Its tongue hung out of its mouth quite like a dog.
He smiles loosely, but it kind of looked like he was really tired and maybe even really grumpy. He taps the counter carefully with one hand while he opens a small leather bound book in the other. He scans the pages before finding a blank space to write.
"Well three days will cost around seven silver coins, how long are you staying?"
What should you do?

I look around for Xavier then realize he's gone. Then I turn towards the people and decide to observe them before engaging.
He smiles and kicks one of the pale marking stones a few metres to the right before placing on of his hands on your shoulder and the other on his tiny companion.
"We will be there is approximately twelve seconds, I won't be able to stay though. I'm not welcome there anymore."
A bright flash of green fills your vision and before you know it you are sitting cross legged on top of some rather tall grass. Looking up you find that there is a tree of an unnatural size looming over your head, bright coloured structures jut out in multiple spots and thick vines seem to bind everything together. You were quick to notice two people sitting on a raised wooden platform. They appear to be having a tea party of some kind?
What should you do?
