Relief flooded my body and yge expression was clear on my face. The tension slowly left my body and I lifted my head out of the bow. The creature looked so much more relaxed and that ache in my heart from watching it be in such fear eased. My hands itched to stroke its head, but I did not want to risk losing my hard won progress so instead I...

The hole around you is a classic earth-dug one. It was somewhat deep, though, and was over twice as deep as you were tall. There is a small hole at one side of it, though, and if you crawled, you could fit through it. What do you wish to do?
