Hey guys, sorry for late responses. (*pokes RL with fork*)

Frawn, I've set him up for you. Plus another that might work.

These lads could also work: (When they're old enough.)

Spelf, thanks for setting up Kol'ksu. I need to get offline now, so I'll smoosh tomorrow. :) I can throw you a few Precision Philters too. I have a couple.

Amarok, I was working on a non-themed stat project. It's sorta fell by the wayside. So you aren't mis-remembering entirely. :)

WS project is moving on nicely. Have managed to get these two galsl:

And DS project, I got this 5-vis boy pop: (I'd prefer Seashell over the Amazonian on the G1 vis, but he's so lovely.)

Due to RL picking up a bit, my Stables have become a bit messy. So most of my Sylestia time is trying to keep it from becoming over-whelming. (I just HAD to breed all of the things :P) Sorry for late responses for the next weekish.

@SpaceElf1

Done! ^^ (You're bumping agility for the next generation, right?) If you need any philters, poke me and I'll send some over.

@Amarok

Yeah, I started the project out, and Elf has been helping me, and several other users have contributed breeding and philters. ^^ Between finishing college and moving into a new apartment, my net use has been more limited and sporadic, so I've had to step away from the project for a while because I kept missing hatching times.

So, together we're using this generation gap to breed in some more traits to the project so that the final generation will have more variety. I know most users tend to take a small pool of pets with one or two of the same traits and interbreed those for a stat project, but I racked up on philters and pies during the winter fest and I own many many Sunsongs, so I've got enough resources to embiggen the scope of the project, and I figure the Vorpa-loving community would enjoy it.

I'm sticking with Dexterity at the moment, Spark. According to the stat-breeding guides I've read, the idea is to boost one trait at a time. We want Generation Seven (just for example; I'm not actually certain of the number) to all have quite high Dexterity, so we won't lose any Dex points while we Philter for Agility. When Dex, Agility, Strength, and Intelligence are all pretty high, we then start Prisma Philtering them, to bring up Health while taking the other four stats to max.

(Much gratitude to Absol and DG for donated Philters.)

Oh, and to everybody, there's a new post in Halloween Sylvorpa Breeding.

Edit: And we have a Generation 2.5 Statsong, because I remembered that people wanted Lotus Lights in the project--

But if every member of each generation is given the same philter across the board, how can the stats be lost? They're all going to have the same stats no matter which philter is given.

Thanks, Celuwen! ^.^

And it's all good, Amarok. I'm not really a part of the stat project business, but I do have a new Sunsong for sale (baby picture links). My idea for combining visible G1 Clown Triggerfish, Alpine Newt, and Iridescence has come to fruition. I call this sub-theme "Sunspots" (and I'm working on an identical project for the Deep Sea theme). ^.^

The sunspot sub-theme is a great idea. The little guy is looking good.

I adore alpine newt.

...you should be careful these things don't have cancer from so much sun tanning. :P

I'm not quite clear on how trait degradation can take place, Spark. But I have more Philters of Precision than anything else, so I figured I would just run with Dex until you are able to return to actively leading the Statsong project (I am just your humble Igor, remember!).

Speaking of which, thanx to Celuwen and Amarok for further Philter of Precision donations.

And the two members of Generation 3.5 have hatched! Get out there and Nurture them, everyone!

I decided not to keep giving the Statsong Vorpas in my stables names from Edgar Rice Burroughs's Barsoom characters. Therefore, from this point forward my Statsongs will have names of Burroughs's characters who are from other planets, so I can tell the Statsongs apart.
