The small segment of forest soon becomes a massive field. Some parts are grassy- grass so long that Hematite would vanish within moments if he went in. Other parts have hundreds upon thousands of flowers- all sorts of different kinds, too. Everything from roses, to poppy, to marigold, to many more that Chrissy doesn't remember the names of.

Hematite chooses to walk through the flowers instead. There's plenty of gaps between buds, so they don't have to crush any of the lovely flowers.

Eventually, they come upon a peaceful looking cottage. If this didn't feel like some weird alternate version of the human realm before, it definitely does now. All the ethers they've encountered before have had huts, or dens, or something that's just generally not found in a modern human society. Seeing a cottage almos feels foreign in this case.
