"It's always been this way. Weavers evolved to hunt us, and we evolved to fight back. We have been enemies since before we developed a consciousness."

"Well, it used to be more... casual. Weavers did not use to adamantly hunt us- they're apex predators, and no apex predator hunts a singular prey. However, angels are quite protective of humans, and we tend to eat humans. So things have escalated."

*I see. What other creatures do you eat?*

"Many creatures. Humans, sprites, grims, strix, shen- anything that's not poisonous and is edible."

*. . . What do you eat that isnt sentient?*

"Sentient things taste better."
