A couple of laughing guards rounded a corner. "Oi!" They say upon spotting Casey and Lilura. "Bob! Ain't you supposed to be going the opposite direction? And whatcha doing handling this one? "

Casey adjusts his cap so it hid his face. "This one here is takin' me to an abomination that we didn't catch. Accidentally got the wrong kid."

The guard glanced at Lilura then back at Casey. "Okay... Suppose I believe this and let you go. What if she was just bluffing, there was no other. And you let her go. Now, what if I just told you to leave this one here so someone else can go check that supposed other Intuitive back. Much safer. We wouldn't loose an Intuitive, and we would gain one if the supposed other was there!"

"Listen. The tracker showed an Intuitive but we got the wrong kid. If she doesn't actually know where it is, I'll bring her back to die a slow and painful death. And if she stays here, how is she going to show me exactly where it is?"

"She can tell you directions from her point in her cell." The guard says sarcastically. "And no one will touch her until someone comes back with proof that we got the wrong one. Or we got the right one, and we'll punish her accordingly."
Lilura tried to keep her expression neutral through all of this, but her panic was rising.

"We've already tried that. We ran tests, tortured her, and we've got nothing. And until proven otherwise, I will be taking her to the other. Don't worry, I'm not going to let her out of my sight." He spoke firmly, with authority

The guard looks at Casey before sighing and nodding. "Okay. Hope you find the right one, mate!" The guard says before continuing down the hall.
Lilura was visibly trembling at this point, and she was sure she was about to have a panic attack.

Casey was tempted to comfort her, but he couldn't. Not now. "Keep moving," he growled

Lilura nearly stumbles on her feet as she continues.

Soon, they were out, but he didn't give up his facade.
