I inhaled again eyes still bronze.

"Hey... Dont be embarrassed" he said worried.

" you have beautiful eyes. "

" ...But what if the ice hurt you?! It wouldn't have been the first time! "

I blushed more and smiled "thank you... You're eyes are just as beatiful..." I say without thinking.

Alec shrugs and sits next to her "I have had holy water thrown on me... Scarred me for about three weeks... A little ice wont hurt me... As long as you're alright..."

He smiles again. " Thank you. "

" I-i know...but sometimes the ice can turn into fractals...sharp, fractals. I-ive seen it pierce even the strongest people.

I smile in return my eyes swirling with purple and bronze out of joy.

Alec sighed "I dont care how many scars I get... I will protect you with my life" he mumbled hugging her.

He stared into her eyes.

She froze for a moment before beginning to cry, hugging him back.

I stared back smiling.

"Shhhh you're alright..." He whispered.

He smiled back.

She cried into his chest, making it wet.

"I dont think... I could have gone another day without knowing you..." I said without thinking.

Alec soothed her hair and hugged her close.

" I feel the same way..." He said.

She stopped crying, and just began sniffling.
