I knew that I was making progress with the creature, and that the "copy cat" routine seemed to be working in my favor. I wanted to talk to him, try and see if he had any higher intelligence at all, but instead I...
a.) Mimic him in the bow
...lowered my head as he was doing, allowing my head to dip even lower than his.

I gasp, barely dodging the hyenas. When I notice the injured one, I rushed towards it. I glanced it up and down, but didn't dare touch it without knowing if it was feral. Before I could do anything else, it collapsed (<-- I hope I'm allowed to do that...?). I reached into the bag around Sybille's neck, careful not to damage the eggs, and took out the large blanket I kept in the bottom. I laid it over the hyena, avoiding getting near the teeth or claws. "Sybille, please watch him. I'll be right back." I looked at Lily, in a rush to pinpoint the source of the roar. "I might need backup - whatever it is, it sounds big." Hoping Lily was following, I took off in the direction of the sound.

Hey guys. Sorry it's been so long since I replied! Yesterday was hectic with school, testing outside of school, and then a private lesson, and then today I had company over, which I hadn't known about until I was at school x-x. I'll get right on the replying ^^.
