The hatchling lunged at Vix, but Vix bit at it, trapping it's beak in his mouth. Outraged, the bird started trying to claw Vix.

Claudio then was in front of vix taking the claws that the bird aimed at vix.

(Vix is one of Lint's pups, the bird is the runaway hatchling x3 I doubt even Claudio's paw could fit between them but ok)

The hatchling's claws barely did anything to Claudio except tiny scratches. Lint had heard the noise and squeezed outside. She gasped at the sight of her own child having a bloody and broken paw. Running to Vix, she picked him up and looked at his paw. "Kall!" She cried.

Kall heard Lint call with to much anxiety in her voice. Running outside, he also gasped at the sight of Vix. Taking Vix from Lint, he ran inside and got a few medicinal plants.

Claudio brought his front paws down onto the hatchling.

It screeched, but soon fell dead limp. Lint had already scurried inside to take care of Vix.

Claudio grabbed the birds limp body and carried it inside.

Vix was barely breathing, having lost too much blood. Lint had closed the wound and made her pup Drink water to make up for the blood, but it was barely working.

Claudio saw and then thought of an idea. "Hold the pup still this may or may not work." Claudio said.

Licking Vix's head, she held him still.

Claudio dripped some of the bird blood into his open wound hoping it would work though he knew it might cause some later mutation probably if it worked.
