Kalib glances up when his shoulder is patted. He smiles softly and his head tilts to the side, causing his curly bangs to fall in his eyes. He hums quietly as he brushes his hair back once more, though once let loose and free, it doesn't like to be forced back or tamed.
"Sorry for being annoying." Kalib says quietly, wanting more than anything to apologize for being the cause for Virgil's falling behind to stay with him but unsure if he could find the right words to get it across in the right way.

Virgil shakes his head, "Not annoying just being you is okay don't apologize for being yourself," Virgil said quietly feeling like Kalib needed those words. Virgil didn't want Kalib to feel like he didn't belong with the team. Virgil is beginning to see Kalib as a little brother to him even though he never had one before.
(I just realized that Virgil is the oldest out of all of them)

Oris listened to, well to him it felt more like eavsdrooping realy, what Kalib had said. What the boy was saying was similar to what had made him so willing to join the adventure, tho the harbringer of peace didnt felt like adding anything to this discution was neaded on his end.

Grey steels himself, still completely silent as he walks with the others. But now you can see his fists are clenched, and his silvery eyes dart irritably from place to place. Just. Let. This. Be. Over with. Grey, once you get this stupid mission done, you'll never have to worry about it again.

Virgil smiled at Kalib after those words he said to him. He walked next to Kalib for a bit. He looks around at the scenery and thought, "This is beautiful even though we're on a mission,"

(I also feel like Virgil will be that overprotective brother to everyone. I some how make most of my characters have an overprotective streak on their friends or family.)

(I like that! Virgil and Grey would likely get along if the latter would break through his jerk shell :>)
(Grey- I feel like he's going to be the sort of anguished cold character who 'doesn't need anyone, he's the only important person here' but slowly opens up to the rest XD)

Virgil looks over to see Grey clenching his fist tightly. He sighed and walked towards him. Once he got to Grey he taps his shoulder.

Grey jumps and spins around, raising his gun. When he sees it's just Virgil, he relaxes, but there's still a hardened, unapproachable look in his eyes. "What do you want," He says flatly. I don't have time for this.

Virgil looks in his eyes and signed, "What is wrong and don't act tough either." Virgil eyes is hiding something behind them like pain or something.

Also, there is no escaping Kalib now since he has dubbed Virgil friend. Initiating clingy monkey. (Yes, Kalib is a monkey - he climbs trees and humans and practically anything, hoots and cackles, and likes bananas. What else could he be?) xD)

Kalib nods at Virgil's words, the anxiety of having said something wrong fading away. He inches closer to Virgil and follows him when he moves to Grey. Kalib takes the hand that Virgil isn't using and holds it in his own. He frowns when Grey uses a harsh tone when addressing his friend.
"Calm down, Grey, it's not like we're here to get you killed. Well, hopefully not." Kalib shrugs. "I just followed Virgil. Virgil is good friend. Very good. No being mean to Virgil." Kalib wraps both of his arms around Virgil, letting go of his hand in the process, and blinks placidly at Grey.
