She smiles slightly and nods "It's only a scratch, I'll be fine" She chuckles slightly and looks at Kori "I-I'll take one of the baskets," She says putting her hand out to take one of the baskets

"I'll be fine, I can carry both no sweat," Kori says, laughing timidly.

She pouts and looks at Kori, eyes bright and sparkling

"Fiiiine, as long as the high-ranks don't think I'm 'slacking off and saddling one of my superiors with unnecessary work'," He mumbles, handing her a basket.

She giggles and walks into the castle, putting the baskets in the kitchen.

"Well, that was quite the expedition," Kori comments, pushing his hair out of his eyes. His wings flutter slightly. He looks much healthier than he did before, being cooped up almost nonstop for 30 years can't be good for anybody.

Amethyst bumps into the higher level that the tree fell on and she looks away instantly, the higher level being way bigger than her, grabbed her by her wing, and she growled loudly

Kori bristles, hissing a little, but realizes his present position..... he's pretty much surrounded by enemies. Whistling a cheerful little tune under his breath, he wanders around a bit, looking at Amethyst with pain in his eyes. "Um, don't mind me, just a random servant," He shoots the high-rank a friendly thumbs up. "Also brutally murdered two hundred of your kind in one go once, so I'd recommend you back off," he murmurs, so quietly you can barely hear.

Amethyst twists the higher level's arm, her eyes now narrow and darker than usual, glowing red along with the markings on her face, showing that she's beyond angered

Kori sighs and rubs his temples, muttering something under his breath. "This is going to get ugly now, isn't it?" He looks to the higher-levels around him with a defiant look in his eyes. "Everything I do," He muses. "I do in self defense. So nobody had better execute me for this."
