Terror's scent suddenly wafted over them from behind them.
Her orange pelt was badly tangled with burs, and she smelled strongly of thyme.
Over all, it looked like she hadn't had time to groom herself in a while. She looked tired, but her muscles were tense, and her eyes blazed.
"What? Are you going to try to run me off, too?"
(It will take tact to avoid injuries. Terror blows up at the slightest insult.)
