The ride would be a good few minutes. Mino took a deep breath an shut his eyes, knowing the horse would know the way without guiding. He let the reigns sag out of his hands, palms open in his lap. He loved his daily rides, but hadn't had the chance for some time since he had to spend most of his time preparing for the wedding, the arrival and all of the different festivities throughout the kingdom. He had almost forgotten Xolia was behind him.
Once he remembered her presence, he found it best to stay silent, enjoying the peace that overtook him.

After awhile she began to hum a small lullaby her mother had sung to her at night when she was. It was quiet, so no one should've been able to hear it, besides herself, of course.

Temorin vaguely heard her voice, listening closer as she sang. With what started as a vague sound became more vivid to him as he listened. He smiled softly, thinking to himself that she had a lovely voice. Saragon whinnied a bit, alerting Mino that they were nearing the village.

Her voice slowly faded as Saragon whinnied, looking up at the village with interested blue eyes.

Mino took a moment to wipe the stupid smile off of his face. The village was just in sight, covered in streamers and confetti, prepared for the arrival of the princess. As they rode in, the people seemed overjoyed. A few women gave Xolia a scornful look, but that was the only negative response the two seemed to get.

"Hold on." He whispered as Saragon reared with a whinny, receiving an excited cheer from the people.

She ignored the few womens looks and simply smiled softly at the townspeople. A couple weeks ago, she would've been in their position. But now she was a princess. A legitimate one, at least. Whether she wanted to be one or not.

Saragon trotted into the square where Temorin dismounted and held onto Xolia's waist, helping her down.
"See the building on our right Princess? We will be positioned on the balcony for the time being. Come along."

She nodded, carefully climbing down off the horse with his help. This entire thing excited her, and while she did not show it with her face, her eyes were clearly full of excitement.

Saragon stayed put as the two walked into the building. Mino quickly walked up the stairs, guiding Xolia along the way. The people's voices could still clearly be heard. The rails of the stairs were covered in flowers, and the same for the rail of the gorgeous balcony.

A soft smile played on her face as she looked at all of the beautiful flowers. When she was younger, it was harder to appreciate the beautiful things in life, because she was always learning something to keep on par with the real princess.
