Eva narrowed her eyes her good nature gone. "So you expect us to believe Lionel is the most wanted person in town because he's a bachelor after his whole big, giant, gargantuan mouth. I was trying to give you guys a chance but after your injury as a 'bodyguard' and these random facts that seem to just slip out of your mouth I'm guessing you guys are using your bar as a prop." Nathaniel glared at them wondering what danger they had just gotten themself into. Natalie looked toward Lionel and Scarlet cautiously wondering how Eva's declaration would go with them

" Lionel, Vincent is going to murder you. And when he is done, I am going to laugh. " Scarlet said with a bit of annoyance, but sighed. " You caught us, maaaaybe he isn't a bodyguard, but the bar isn't a prop, its a business cover but the stuff we ship in isn't... legal, persay. " Scarlet was pretty calm about it, while Lionel was silent. Though, both kf them were in a panic. " But we weren't planning anything, quite the opposite. The towns dangerous, and new folks like you would be easy picking. "

Eva frowned crossing her arms. "And how are we suppose to trust you with that now." Nathaniel narrowed his eyes. "As much as I don't want to trust them either, she does raise a valid point." Natalie crossed her arms glaring. "We don't have much of a choice now. We have only a few choices, tell the authorities about the only people who were willing to help us or join them. The other ones I really don't want to dive deeper in."

Lionel spoke up, " If you told, you'd be considered rats, and even if we don't kill ya, no one here likes rats. " He said, his voice still smooth, but a bit shaky. " Chances are, if they don't kill ya, you'll be watched more. There 3 people in this town, the groups, the rats, and the normal people goin' by there everyday life. Sure, there are many rats.. but its more of a risk then trustin' us to be one. " Scarlet slapped Lionel's arm in a not-so-gentle way. " Stop with the threats.. it won't get you anywhere but in more trouble. "

Nathaniel narrowed his eyes thinking. Natalie and Eva looked to him trusting his decisions. "Here let's make a deal. We don't kill you you don't kill us. We won't tell on you, but you have to tell us what you guys are and do and maybe we will help you."

" Trust me, if any of us act up at a time like this.. Vincent 'll kill us himself. " Lionel grumbled, not liking this idea very much. Scarlet though was relieved by it.. " Alright, deal.. but if you decide to help just know.. you're stuck with us, and chances are all the others here will dislike you. "

He made a face, "Being disliked by people was going to happen either way." Natalie nodded. Eva rolled her eyes. "Maybe for you guys, but I agree, you let us in and we'll deal with the consequences ourselves." Natalie grinned. "Well I guess this deal is sealed." Nathaniel and Eva nodded and they looked toward Lionel for consent.

Lionel sighed but said, " Fine, but we warned you. Don't come crying to me when you've got a bullet wound or ten... you go to Scarlet for that, I'd just panic. " He said, still not looking towards the. Scarlet then spoke up, " In simple, we deal in illegal weapons, host gambling, sell alcohol not even remotely allowed to be sold.. and.. well, there is dirtier stuff to us but, I doubt you'd be interested in hearing about dead bodies. "

Nathaniel nodded. "Well I guess you did warn us after we accepted, but whatever." Eva and Natalie nodded. Eva said defiantly to Lionel, "We won't coming crying to you, so don't worry about it." Natalie frowned. "So what was Lionel doing when we met him." She said remembering how he was talking to one of the jazz players. "Was that player an acquaintance of yours?"

Lionel couldn't help but smirk and Eva's comment, and finally turned around, flicking on a lighter as he took out a cigar, lighting it and taking a drag. " Well, the jazz player is a very special man. Sure, he plays music, and I may enjoy jazz more then most, but that isn't why I think the jazz player is special. I needed bullets, and some other things.. and a gun repaired. "
